



Submission Guidelines | GCESCJ Blog
The Submissions to the GCESCJ Blog are accepted on a rolling basis.
Publication Guidelines:
The Submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria by the Editorial Board:
1. Accuracy: The submissions must be factually and legally accurate, the sources used should also be accurate, and the hyperlinks must be functional.
2. Nature and Relevance of the topic: The submission must address a contemporary issue in legal scholarship and a critical issue.
3. Arguments: The submission must novel arguments or offer a new interpretation of existing laws.
Whether the submission uses novel arguments or offers a new interpretation of the existing laws?
4. Language: The language used must be clear, understandable, and intelligible.
Kindly note: Submissions must be the original work of the author and not AI generated. All submissions will be subjected to plagiarism checks, and any content with more than a 10% similarity index will be automatically disapproved.
Use of generative AI models in any form is strictly prohibited. The submissions should contain authors' original work.
Submission Process:
Submissions should be made only through the form provided below. Submissions made through any other means will not be considered.
Submissions should be made in Word Document only and the manuscript should be titled “Title of the Article_ Submission.”
Our standard review period is 14 days from the submission. Once accepted the submission shall be published on the GCESCJ Blog within 1-2 days post submission of the Copyright Waiver Agreement by the author(s).
Style Guidelines:
Submissions should be between 1,200 and 1,500 words. Longer or shorter articles may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Longer pieces may be divided into two posts at the sole discretion of the editorial board.
Submissions must be in Times New Roman font, with size 12 and line spacing 1.5.
Co-authorship is permitted up to maximum of two people. Author(s) shall mention their names and designations below the blog titled on the first page.
All submissions must contain relevant hyperlinks within the documents to cite the appropriate sources. This includes all legislations, cases, articles, international instruments, any other sources. However, if the article contains sources that cannot be hyperlinked, please use Harvard Bluebook 20th Edition style in the Endnotes.
In case authors seeks to cross-post their piece published on the GCESCJ Blog, the cross-post must indicate that the article was first published on GCESCJ along with the relevant link to the piece.

Copyright Policy
By making a submission to GCESCJ, the author(s) agrees to grant non-exclusive, royalty free rights to GCESCJ to publish and promote their content on the platform. Due authorship credit shall be given to the author.
